What is SEN Home to School Transport?

Your child may be eligible for help with home-to-school transport provided by Northumberland County Council.

Eligibility is based on factors such as the child’s needs and their distance from school.

Support may include a place on a minibus or taxi, a public transport pass, or a travel allowance for parents/carers.

Pupils may also travel with a Passenger Transport Assistant for additional support.

More Information and How to Apply

For full details, please refer to the SEND Transport Handbook or contact Northumberland County Council’s School Transport Team on 01670 624 839.
